Default Mix and match rollers.

Is it safe to run 2 different weight rollers in the variator at once??? If I run (3) 4.5g's and (3) 6.0g's, will that hurt anything????
Or do they all have to be the same???
It's a 90cc.

Default Mix and match rollers.

I'd say you could if you HAD to, but with them being different weight, they would react differently. The heavier rollers wound be tring to expand the clutch while the lighter rollers would not yet be trying. I would suppose it would be possible for the clutch to expand enough that the lighter rollers could get turned sideways and hold the clutch in that position. I believe that unless theres no other way, I would put the same weight of rollers in. (nothing says you have to run all 6 either)
