Default LT 80 TOP END

Does the arrow on top of the piston point to front or rear when installed properly?
How can you unstick the top ring? If it is stuck tight should that cause very low compression?

Thanks

Arrow toward exhaust allways.
And yes, there is a problem when there is a ring stuck.
If you installed the piston backwards you prolly have 2 notches in the exhaust port from the ring gaps hitting.

Thanks, Jack. Had the arrow to the rear like I thought, but found out top ring stuck, finally got it free, but it still has some tightness to it.

Thank you

can the ring gap hit hard enought to force the piston circlip to fail? Posable vibration and put pressure on the piston and Crankshaft?

Zukisu: I think not. I've made a mistake before with cir-clip installation. I feel this happened to you.
