Battery Issues: Polaris Scrambler 50
Hi All. Is it typical for these sealed batteries to TOTALLY lose a charge if they are drained completely? Even after jumping and running for hours it goes immediately dead again. This will be the 3rd one we've put in. Oh, and we would just use the kick start put that doesn't work so hot either. Does anyone know the best battery or the best place to buy batteries online? Don't get me wrong - other than the electric/kick start issue this is a great little machine. My son rides it all out in all sorts of conditions and terrain and it's solid as a rock. Thanks for any help - I just think it's very very odd.

Obviously you have a bad battery issue right now, but what's making them go bad time after time?? I think what's happening is your ballast resistors or your voltage regulator is bad causing you to "cook" your battery. If you have a voltage tester, check your voltage coming into your battery with the RPM's above 6000. If you're getting much more than 16 volts, you're cooking your battery and no matter what battery you put in it you'll soon replace it too
Not 100% convinced this is your problem but it's somewhere to start.
