Jackel 110R vs. California?
We ride at ocotillo too, that isn't where we had problems. We don't go during the summer because, as you already know, it's like 120 out there. We go to a riding area at the top of the ortega highway. It's called the Wildomar OHV area. It's a nice place during the summer because it is close (about half the distance to ocotillo) and it isn't as hot. The green sticker is not a huge deal with me, it would just be nice to have one so that we don't have to worry about it. It sucks to trailer everything up there, get set up, start riding, and then have to pack up. The rangers are nice enough, but they strictly enforce the sticker situation. I have a feeling we are just going to go ahead and get predator 90's. I like the extra features (lighting, reverse, suspension travel, etc) that you can't get with the big 4. The price is also a little better. I was looking at these off brands because of the cost, but I don't want a bunch of headaches. So I am not really "hung up" on the green sticker, just exploring options..

So you are not real pleased with the pred 90's? You wouldn't think it would be so hard to pick a good youth quad. I guess they all have there ups and downs. I really like the looks of the new trx 90 and the electric start for this year. The damn things are almost $2,700!! I have been checking out the eton's and dinli's too. Have you had a chance to ride either of them?

The pred,s have been ok, just a few minor problem,s. Also I have done alot of upgrade,s, I just bought Hetrick pipe,s and c.d.i,s. Yea I like the new Honda and agree alot of money. If you go with the Eton or something don,t worry about getting parts I mail order most of my part,s for the predator,s anyway. I have seen the Eton , Dinli, and kasea never rode one. I did meet a guy at the desert who had a 2005 pred 90 he keep having no start problems ended up being the stator.
