Brakelight
#1
My kids both ride 2001 Polaris Scramblers, my daughters brake light stays on when she fires it up but my sons doesn't. Is there a brake light swith, I checked the brakes and they are not seized, all wheels spin fine, I also loosened the cables but the light is still on? Any sugestions? Thanks Jim.........

.
Within the hand lever assemblies, there might be little pins. These pins are connected to a switch and wires go down their handle bars. If there seems to be wires going to your brake lever assembly, these switch pins could be worn or stuck with mud / crud. Might need a good cleaning with engine cleaner and/or loosing up with some WD-40.
Hope this suggestion helps....

Thanks Spike99, I checked the left side wire going into the brake lever and sure enough if I wiggled it the brake light went out! I sprayed it with WD 40 and it seems to be working. Thanks again Jim..........
