brake light switch

brake light switch
Anyone have a brakelight switch that sticks on? Mine is . The only way to get it to go off is to quick flick the brake lever. Just pushing the lever back does not shut the light off. 07 sportsman 800 I ordered a new switch.

Mine stuck on a few times when I let go slowly but when I let my hand off fast it flicks off. I didn't look into it but was wondering if the pivot screw in the lever was too tight and binding.
