Eton 70 viper carb adjustment
#1
I have a new 70 viper that has just finished the first tank of pre mixed gas. It still smokes a little would adjusting the lean screw fix that and how can you tell on a 2 stoke when you have carb right.
Thanks

Excessive smoke can be caused by two things. Incorrect jetting or incorrect oil ratio. You pilot can be adjusted by the mixture screw, but this doesn't help your needle or main jet. If you aren't having a problem with fouling plugs, I'd leave it alone until you're rady to tear into the carb and go pre-mix.
