LT/KXF 80 aftermarket tire and wheel combo ?
Hello, I tried searching for a couple days off and on but have not been able to pin this down. Please help!
We just bought our oldest daughter (7yoa) an 06 KXF80. I was wondering what rear sizes people are running for the dunes? I was looking at the Skat Trak Exciter 5 paddle in 16-6.5-8 on Douglas wheels. Are these big enough for this bike? Should I go up to the 18 inch? I just don't want too much tire under the rear fenders, but also want decent traction in the sand.
Second question:
I'm looking at the Shredders front and rear for the dirt. We have a track on my parents property. If anybody is running these, whats a good size for the front? I was thinking of the 16 inch for the rear.
Thank you all for any help, and I'm sure I'll have more questions for you LT people out there.
Jess
ETA: The stockers are 19-7-8, but measured they are only 17 inches tall. Thanks.

The shredders are a good tire! My personnal favorite is the NANKANG 16x6.5x8 (N700- knobby) they have a 18" tire also.
Beware of the case buster snow-hog.
For a stock machine in the sand, I'd think you would want the 16" tires. Most run the 18's I think.
The 16's will serve you well now and in the future if motor work is desired. Like was mentioned, you just change the gearing if needed. I feel no gearing change will be needed as a stock machine needs all the grunt available in sand. All depends if you need the speed.

Great information! Thank you all very much!
Is it the norm on these minis to run the same size tires front and rear? I was also looking for a slightly taller and narrower front tire, but if everyone is running the same size all the way around I'll go that route too.
Pardon the ignorance guys, I've had sport quads since I was 14, but these minis are a new experience!
Thanks again for any info.
