Default Feedback on Unison Desert Cat 150

Anyone have any experience/feedback to share on this bike? I have seen quite a bit on the DC 90 and 50 but nothing on the 150, even in the bigger bike forums.

Any info/experiences will be appreciated. Thanks!!

I have never seen a DC150/cpi150 until now and they have a 250 also. If they are as good as the smaller 90-50 I would not be afraid to try one.

Thnks for the feedback...

That's what I have been thinking after reading all of the positives on the smaller bikes. Looking to move my 11 yr old boy up from a Honda TRX 90 for Christmas. Went down to the local Powersport shop the other day to look at one and they seem like a decent bike.

I have also been looking at the Yamaha Grizzly 125. I would like a four stroke because of all the desert trail riding we like to do. Just can't justify spending $3k plus on a bike that small. The DC 150 goes for $2300 out the door. Good deal if it lasts a while without too many problems. Also not too crazy about the whole auto transmission thing on both of these bikes for a kid that age. At 11, they still are learning how to shift depending on the terrain. It's just like everything else these days I guess... Kids got it made!!!

I looked at them on Arizona Avenue, and they look well made. At least compared to my Yamoto 150. Beefy suspension and frame for sure. If they have any at the Offroad show next weekend, I'll probably be buying 1 there.

I talked to a few dealers that carry DC and CPI. They say the 150 and 250 are built very well. They have had great luck with the 50 and 90's . The only complaint that they have is no reverse. From looking at the 50 and 90 I know they are built just as good as any of the name brands. It would be interesting to see the 150 and 250. They look pretty cool in the pics.

Ended up buying the DC 150. Looks very cool and has some good power judging from the test ride I took. Ramtech, let me know if you end up getting one this weekend. Would like to compare notes. Thanks for the info...

Bought it at Quads-N-Mor in East Mesa (owned by same guy who owns Desert Powersports). They wouldn't negotiate on the price but I ended up talking him into at least throwing a helmet in the deal.

Where is the Offroad show being held this weekend? Is it strictly ATVs/dirt bikes?

The show is the 10th and 11th. At Arizona State Fairgrounds. It is a dual show, Desert and street. They have ATVs, motorcycles, sand rails,a nd then street motorcycles. Some trailers and campers.

The problem with that dealer is he changes brands like I change my socks. One month they are the best thing going, then all of a sudden you can't get service. He pissed off alot of yamoto buyers.

How has this atv turned out for you ? I am thinking of getting my son one. He currently rides his sister's polaris scrambler 90 . I don't want him to be left in the dust . It is also a little bigger physically than the 90 isn't it ?
Just wondering how you like it or hate it.
Thanks,
D.
