Just purchased a Predator 50cc new. After one week was in shop because only would idle. Would die when you give it gas. Mechanic said it was smothering or something and should be operated wide open throttle to blow out oil. It has started doing this about once a week and I have to remove air filter and baby it until it will run wide open and then is fine for about a week. Smokes alot once it hits full throttle and then burns clean. Is this a normal problem or just with two strokes. Anyone know how to fix. Any help appreciated

 

not normal, what ratio are you mixing the oil and gas or is it injected? should be mixing around 40:1, it might smoke a little when cold, sounds to me to much oil.

It is oil injected. I believe the first tank of gas had an oil mix by the dealership but since no oil has been added. I was wondering if to much oil was beening injected and if that can be adjusted?
