red123,

You will want to keep the K&N on it. The stock airbox and filter are not very good. They let alot of dirt past because they are not sealed good. If you can figure out a way to mount the K&N up high or under the nose cone that would be ideal. You can go directly to the kazuma/ redcat site and look under the parts list.

Goto Homedepot and get some pvc tube and a rubber connector and run it into the front air box and keep the k&n in there.

It seems to fit fine. There is plenty of room in that front box. Just put an elbow on it if you have to.

If you dont ride in any deep water the air filter will bolt right up to the carb. The airbx is not sealed very well anyways and is not waterproof so you may want to just bolt it right to the carb anyways. The carb has a 1.5 inch flange. You wont run into an airflow problem because the K&N allows alot more air than stock anyway.
