Default Jackel 50CC

I ordered what i thought was a 50CC KAzuma Meercat and today when it arrived it was a 50CC Jackel.
I called the dealer, Kazuma USA, and they said they were out of the meercat's, so he gave me a "free" upgrade. He said they are much better than the Kazuma's and use better parts etc; The finish looks good but I don't know much about ATV's.
Have any of you heard of Jackel?
What would you do in my situation?
Thanks,

Chris Halter

Jackel was advertised really hard and heavy here on the forums a while back. I can't recall ever seeing much posted about them, good, nor bad.

rookie123,

Jackel is a good atv because they actually took the time to go through the atv and replace all the cheap bolts with grade 8, better carb, airfilter and go through everything to make sure they are solid. It is a Kazuma with more attention to detail. If that is what you got then you made out good. Keep what you got.

OK Great! I was alittle worried because they told me they were sending a Kazuma and I got a Jackel. I thought they were pulling a bit of bait and switch.
Thank you for your help! The dealer is Kazuma USA in Texas, which I have found out also owns Jackel.com
Best Regards,

Chris Halter

I know that Jackel screams that they use Japeneese seals, bearings, carb ect.I have owned a 50cc Kazuma for years,my two boys have hammered on it,along with there friend's.The one my kid's own has been totally trouble free.My question is...Has anyone had a Jackel appart and has seen the upgraded seals and gaskets? And is it necessary?

Update:

I went out this morning and got it started and it ran great. I discovered the problem was the fuel line was pinched between the tank and the carb, so the carb wasn't getting any fuel. It's almost ready for my son for Christams!

The last thing I have to do is change the oil. It is really tuff to get to the drain bolt. Does anyone know any tricks? The frame partially blocks the bolt, making it difficult to get to.

The easiest way to change the oil on them little 50's, is to warm up the engine, turn off gas, take out oil fill plug & tip the machine on its side & let it drain right out the same hole you fill it with, have been doing that for years & it makes a 5 minute oil change & have had zero problems with the engine.
