Paul, let's do this. Do you know where to send the parts, and when can I expect them? Bear in mind I will post when they come, and then finally this will all be behind all of us.

Anyone. I finally picked up my Kazuma Adult ATV 250. I inspected it as many of you had worn. The box was so damaged, but I couldn't believe the quad was good to go. Man, what a relief that was. I got it together, lubed it, battery, wheels and etc. The bike wouldn't turn over. The horn works, the lights work, brake light and etc. When you hit the start button, nothing. So, I went to trace it and the box that has two red wires running under the seat...one from the battery and one to the starter??? I went to tighten them, and it started by accident when I get both with the wrench while tightening? Anyway, it runs fine, but will not start via the starter? I'm contacting Paul in the morning...any help out there.
Anyway, no kick starter or back up. Without this, I screwed and I have a brand new quad that is down! Help.

Sounds like one of the wires came loose that go from the battery to the starter. By connecting the way you did sounds like you bypassed the relay. They probably have to be reconnected.

Man, I knew it was something stupid...man, do I feel like an idiot. I thought the book said hand brake...it is the footbrake. You are the man and SEADAWG is ....lets just say challenged. I pride myself on being able to turn wrenches...hell, I own a Harley Anyway, I went down, pressed the foot brake and it started right up. Thank you much.

Hey Player,
Shipping company or not, the crate held up. It may not have been pretty, but trust me, it was unscathed? I was shocked and happy. Hey, I just want the quad in good shape...hell with the box. I guess that is why they have a metal frame. Also, Paul at almostfreeatv.com called me and had my back. Thanks guys for the help. Seadawg
