Default Great Lakes ATV, Worst experience of my life!!!!!

For what it's worth, this is not the first negative post I have read about Great Lakes atv and I pose this question to them..why don't you just pay for shipping and exchange tims quad and save face?.If your a good reputable company ,as you claim, surely you can afford to do this.Remember that if you provide good service to one person, they will tell one other, perform a dis-service and they will tell(post) to thousands..The power of this and similar forums is what makes or breaks a companys reputation..good luck to you both and hope you can work things out..

Tim is the one who lashed out by starting this thread and won't call me back. I have asked him in the thread to call me so that we can resolve this. This thread was the first I heard he had a problem! The parts have been sent, I assume the shipping claim started on his end and based on his previous messages a chargeback has been started with his credit company because I committed "fraud" and a personal threat that I "better sleep with one eye open". I'm in a corner here and have to wait to see. In the mean time I'm sure I'll get more messages on this response. I appreciate the customers who backed us up on this thread and Happy new year to you all.

This is a follow up to my previous post,I could have been way off the mark and if I am,I appologize to great lakes atv. After re-reading tims original post, something seems a little strange' like him not opening the box to inspect quad upon delivery and him stating that front fender was not even in the box.I realize stuff gets damaged in shipping but what is the probabilty of the kazuma shipping a quad without the fender or the truck driver opening the box and throwing it away, and having this much damaged without being visible from the outside of box?So my question is now to Tim,are you sure you didnt get the quad assembled then crashed it and now laying blame on great lakes...Just a thought

I have picked up the phone, even keeping a log. They say they are not allowed to give Paul's phone number. I'm trying to get to Paul...even gave them this blog. I want to reframe from slamming them...I think it one person that is not customer service oriented or care about Paul's business. I no longer talk to Amanda...I'll leave it at that now.

To me it does sound like you were ripped off. However, buying these chinese made low quality peices of crap- your lookin for trouble-------------especially sight unseen over the internet. I wouldn't spend a dime on any of these CRAPPY MANUFACTURERS.

STAY WITH THE BIG 7 MANUFACTURERS!

Paul,
Thanks for the call. Please call me if you get another chance...we are playing phone tag. I want to thank you for your customer service and great prices. I just think you have one bad bug that doesn't represent you/your company well. You have been proactive and you care. Anyone out there...if you have issues, see Paul. For a great price, see Paul. Seadog!

I could tell by Paul's reply...that he cares Sugar beats crap every time Thanks for the reply and stay out of trouble. Maybe I'm just lucky

Trailblazer- I realize you call these cheap China crap. Just for the record, I own one cheap China machine (2 years old), 2 Hondas, 1 Kawasaki and my Harley. I can afford the big 7, but please consider the ones that can't afford the "big 7." I owe the Japanese nothing! The China bike has been great for cheap. It reminds me when riding my Harley and the "others" are not allowed to ride with us??? F-that, I'm riding w/ people I like and I don't care what they have in the bank or what they are riding. I say the same thing to my Harley guys that treat the guys with "Jap" bikes the same thing. I will agree with you, nobody beats the quality of the big 7...that we agree on.
