I would like to know how hard it is to remove the remote control system form my sunl 90. If I just unhook all the parts to the remote will it run ? has anyone done this? any help or tips on this would be greatly appreciated...

My son has the redcat version and I just unplugged both plugs for the alarm and the only downfall is the key doesn't work anymore but he just uses the switch on handle bar.

 

I tried that and it ran just fine but I couldn't get it to shut off without pulling the plug wire..


BTW: of all the people to reply it had to be someone from Clermont.. LOL my parents live over on Hwy 33.. Have you ever heard of JJJ's nursery? that would be them...

 

THe switch on the handle bars should still work. Make sure you didn't unplug that.

 

I had the same problem with the remote and figured it out by luck! Hold the little lightening bolt symbol down on the remote for about 2 seconds. Let off and then hit it again!! Should start it. Hit the unlocked lock symbol and that should kill it! Make sire you have the key on and the run/off switch on the left bar flipped to the one WITHOUT the X though it. Hope that helps.
