Ragged,

Well put! I couldn't agree more. My only fear is buying a product that is known for issues and not being able to get parts for it or serviced if it is really jacked up.

I agree with buying one of these off Ebay is risky. I doubt most sellers on Ebay even have any inventory, little alone know how to start it. It is just drop shipped from SunL or wherever else. I could have done it. If you can find a dealer close to you that sells/services these, then you can save yourself some money and get the Ebay deal and then take it to your local dealer for service. That is where the real money is made anyway!

So, what do you think about the Roketas?

Don't know as I have never seen them. I'm only familiar with the SunL product through my recent dealings. Do you have a webpage or something for them? There are so many that sell the SunL product under other names as well as the other offshore manufacturers that it is hard to keep up with them all.

I purchased from Scootertown in Dallas, and am now stuck with a 110cc 4-wheeler that won't go. Been trying to get a replacement part for over 2 months. How I wish I had purchased from someone who would go to bat for me. All I get is "we'll get it to you real soon." I even offered to pay considerably extra for the part. They don't care.

Who you buy from makes *ALL* the difference when trouble strikes. I learned my lesson the hard way.

if you're worry about dealer support after the sale then i would consider a kazuma, just go to the internet and type in kazuma , you'd see that their's a lot of dealers selling parts and kazuma usa itself. you have no problem getting parts for these quads, i have two kazuma 150 dingo's for 2 years now and had to replace one carburator and a rear brake assy once, reliability with these quads does't seem to a problem,

Does anyone know of a Roketa dealer here in the DFW area? I have look at the Sunl's and was considering purchasing a SLA-250lka but I'm not sure if it will be big enough. I'm about 6'1" and 250lbs the Local Sunl dealer seem to be well stock and with a factory warehouse just down the highway they can get anything you need.

My wife and I purchase a slightly use SLA-50 for our 6yr son... It’s about a year old and runs like a top. I have been looking at name brand bike but I can touch these right now. Even the use bikes are high price. I saw a video of the Roketa RTU 250W I am very interested in this bike, I think it mightl fit the bill.

Roketa just opened a distribution center in Dallas.....2406 Walnut Ridge
Dallas, TX 75229 TOLL FREE: 1-866-372-2188

I would avoid any and all SUNL products. The warranties are almost never honored and gettings parts is almost impossible. Trust me, I know from experience.

I bought my sunL from a ebay seller and am very pleased with the service. They have been great to work with thus far.As far as the problems I think it could have happened to any brand. After doing alot of searching about the sunl I see more people that are happy with them than not.We are considering buying anouther one from the same TX seller.
This is just MO.
