Help with Kazuma 50
#1
It will start for about 5 seconds than die. I have tried starting with choke up/down. Changed plug, lowered C clip in carb one level. Doesnt want to run. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the carb, turn off and unplug the gas line to the carb, unbolt the two bolts and remove it. keep the cable attached on top of the carb.undo the screws underneath, make sure you have something to catch the gas from the float bowl.Open it up and check the needle and seat for junk. Also make sure the two jets are not clogged.unscrew them and check.I found a small piece of plastic from the fuel tank under the needle and seat which caused the gas to continue to leak and empty the tank. Make sure you install everything back together as you took it apart. Install a fuel filter also.

My sons had the same problem, have you adjusted the carb adjustment screw located on the right side of carb?I have to constantly adjust or the quad either idles too fast or just stalls. Also back out largest screw on float bowl and allow carb to drain (turn gas off first). Also check to make sure theres no kinks in the vent hose on gas cap or you can get vapor lock..hope this helps.
