My dad just bought me a Baja Wilderness 250cc for a low cost at G.I. Joes. I was hoping for a few tips and good riding spots around Seattle. Does anybody else have the same ATV as me. If so what might I need to know. Like I said...im new(only rode 1 time before purchase!!!!)

Always ride with a buddy, always.
If you want to ride till your 65, always wear your saftey equipment, always.
Demonstrate to yourself that you can use the hand and foot brakes with out looking at them before you go more than 10 mph.
Demonstrate to yourself that you can read terrain way ahead of you to make better braking and turning decisions at any speed.
Don't let anyone talk you into doing anything on a quad that you don't want to.
Finally, be on the look out for when the quad is riding you, instead of you riding the quad!

welcome to the forums, i think i have a couple good tips...
dont let ur friends talk u into doing sumthing stupid like going on the street or anything like that.
dont go on other peoples private property unless u like paying fines and talking to police.
take good care of ur quad and it will take good care of u. u could ride it hard but once ur done u should do sum basic maintenance(sp?) such as changing oil and stuff.
safety equipment is always a must (at least a helmet, but chest protectors and all that help too)
if you get stuck sumwhere... make sure u always have sumone with u to help you get it out.
u SHOULD read your owners manual before u ride if u have one (most people dont).
if u have any more questions about ur quad, come here!
and last but not least... have fun!

Does your mom or dad ride too? Who's going to drive you to the riding areas?
Check out the "Puget Sound Area Riders...." thread under "Where to Ride".
We ride a bunch and those chatty folks will be happy to give you LOADS of good advice.
Most important: Be safe and have fun
