Water proofing?!
#1
Hello All,
The last time I washed the atv my daughter couldn't ride it for two days. It would start, run for five seconds, die and then refuse to start unless you let it set for about ten minutes. What do you all do to water proof the electrical connectors?
Thanks,
Jeff

I taped all of the ones on the Yamoto with electrical tape. I did also have to go thru and make sure they all were a tight fit. Most werent and needed crimping.

what i did on all the quads is unplug all the connectors and squeeze some di-electic grease in them, plug them back together, then wal-mart sells liquid electriacl tape, which is made for water proofing, (its in their boating department) and cover all the connectors with that, pretty much water proof after that.
