Hey everyone, I wanted to get your opinions on this quad. I have a Komoto 150 (basically a Yamoto) so I am familar with Chinese quads, good and bad. The little 150 has been great (after the airfilter mod, and some simple skid plates), for my 11 year old. Anyway, I am needing a quad for my wife. I went and looked at this 250 after seeing an ad for it in the paper. 1st impressions were extremely positive. It seems VERY well built, had great ground clearance, good suspension, actual a full size quad, seemed to have really good fit and finish. I am most concerned with possible lack of parts. I have searched some on the internet and have determined that this quad was/is the same as some Maxfine quads. I am just worried that there does not seem to be any of these for sale on ebay or anywhere besides Pepboys.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Dave

How much do they want for it? I know the Baja atv's are built pretty well but parts in future are questionable. For an adult I wopuld go with a name brand. I have a Polaris Trailboss 330 and it was 3700 otd. Great atv for the price. Or go with the Honda 250 ex. If you only want to spend about 1500 look at Raceway thay have a nice VX150.

They want $1800 for it. My little brother and I have had Kawasaki Bayou's for 5 or 6 years, so I initially started looking for used Bayou again. We mainly trail ride. Well anyway, the Bayou's are going for $1500 for 93's and maybe $1800 for 97 or 98's! So I started looking at other name brand quads. It seems that in the past few years the used quads in ok and tx are really going up in value. I got my bayou for $1500 for a 3 year old quad by it was 5 or six years ago. Are the influx of China quads making resale of used the bid name quads better?
Thanks for the replies, Dave
