I bought a atv for my wife from this guy at legion globel talked to him a bunch of times explaining just what i wanted. I bought from him because he had a newer bmx model i liked the looks of on his web page. What i wanted was a chain drive automatic single headlight duel a arms with a disk brake in rear and drums would be ok for the front but i kept stressing how important it was to have auto for the wife. Well what i got was a shaft drive drum in rear for brakes not duel a arms and not even automatic WTF? I CALLED HIM UP AND TOLD him i put it together thinking it was at least automatic i though the lever on the clutch side was just to disengage the drive you just put it in gear and your off well it was a maual tranny that my wife will not ride, he had his secretary tell me once i put gas in it its ileagle to ship is that BS whatdo they do on ebay with used stuff that ships all you have to do is drain the gas right? Well now im stuck with an atv my wife wont ride and this SOB wont take it back !!!!! Wont even call me back our respond to e mail what should i do?

by the way, hav you used that ebay dispute console? that should get you through to ebay which will get through to the seller. Also how much did u buy the quad for? If you cant return it then why dont u sell the manual gear changer thingo and sell the rear drum brakes on ebay or sell them to sumone u know then save up a bit of money and get a pro to convert the gears to auto and then just buy disc brakes and install them urself.

Are you sure he sent you the 150? The quad you are describing sounds like the 200cc on their web site. Now it does state that the 200cc is a 5 speed with a clutch and shaft drive. The chart towards the bottom of the page says it is a full automatic trans. The site for Legion Global does have discreprencies. The 150 he has on the site is what you originally described and wanted. Sounds to me like they either sent you the wrong quad or something else is going on. Also in your previous post you were looking at a Solid ATV the 150se model. What happened to that? What made you go with the Legion Global people? They don't just sell quads they sell Home Furniture, Gaming Equipment and Auto Accessories. Unfortunately, this has turned out to be another case of buyer beware. You should have purchased your quad from Raceway like it was recommend when you first started looking for a quad. The 150 listed in the Legion Global website is similar to the Redcat VX150 sold at Raceway. Also if he sent you the 200 instead of the 150 and you payed for the 150 you made out a little better. Unfortunately this is a learning experience. Your best bet now is to sell it or keep it and add it to your collection. However, now is the time to buy from Raceway and get exactly what you want for your wife.

No its the 150 if you go to freedom scooter .com and look at atv number 26 that is the one i was going to get. I called raceway they did not have anymore and the bmx is suppose to be a little longer and wider than the redcat, thats why i did not go with them

 

I reported this guy to the better buissness burough! No way somone is going to pull this crap with me and im just going to take it! Ill get them back one way our another!!!!!!

 

HAHAHA THATS SO FUNNY, But the problem is, that SOB is right!!! You can send back anything that has had fuel ran through it. EBAY will not let you do that either. I have purchased ATVs everywhere in the country and no one will let you return it after you already have riden it. IF you know about ATVS so much why didnt you notice that it wasnt the engaging for the tranny, and if you saw it on the website, why didnt you make sure before you rode it, It sounds like the wife is the issue!

Why dont you take it to a local shop and have them trade it on one of their automatics. Im not sure, I had no problems with the ones that I purchased from them. But I bought the 90ccs. Try to make sure you know what you want before you purchase.

YOU CAN SELL STUFF WITH FUEL I SOLD A SNOWMOBILE AND SHIPPED IT TO MN NO PROBLEM JUST HAD TO DRAIN THE FUEL AND CHECK THE BOX FUEL TANK EMPTY. THE ATV ON THE WEBSITE ( THE ONE I THOUGH I WAS GETTING) ON FREEDOM SCOOTER.COM NUMBER 26 SAID IT WAS AUTO. MY WIFE DOES NOT HAVE THE PROBLEM I DO I KNOW SHE WILL HAVE A PROBLEM SHIFTING OUR DOWN SHIFTING GOING UPHILLS, I KNOW IT I DONT WANT TO WORRY ABOUT HER GETTING STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF A HILL. THERE ARE NO DEALERS AROUD HERE THAT DEAL WITH THOSE ATVS. I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE CLEAR TO THE GUY THAT SOLD ME THAT ATV. ITS JUST SITTING IN THE SHED. I RODE IT AROUND THE YARD One Time! AND INTO THE SHED AND TOOK OFF THE BATT AND THATS WHERE ITS GOING TO SIT FOR NOW. I COULD NEVER DO THAT TO ANYONE. I m NOT DONE WITH THIS YET! ITS NOT EVEN THE MONEY AS MUCH AS I FEEL THAT I GOT SCREWED. THIS GUY WAS A FING BULL-HITER. HE SAID ILL TAKE CARE OF YOU YEH HE DID ALRIGHT DONT BE FOOLED BY ANYONE! I HAVE OTHER SOURCES OUT DOING THERE HOMEWORK FOR ME! MY NEIGHBOR BOUGHT THE MEERCAT 50S SO I HVAE TO GET2 MORE FOR MY KIDS WITH SUSPENSIONS THIS TIME DAMN THEY OUT GREW THOSE MEERCATS PRETTY FAST!

 

Maybe it is not my place but here are my 2 cents.. i bought a Kazooma (KABOOMA)250 from my FRIENDS shop. the 1st day he rode it, i was withhim, 13 miles the exhaust broke in half.. i took it back & they said we will weld it . i am a welder, so i did it my self. everytime we went out all i did was work on it . eather the bolts were falling out, carb falling off, berings, chain guide,coolant running out you name it it happenned. after the 5th time of the pipe breaking i built my own exhaust system with a white bros slip on & fixed that prob. after about 10 months of this crap(remember these people at the shop were my friends) while on a 5 day dune trip.on day1 it broke twice. my friends were camped down the road, i told them of this group of probs... we don't talk anymore. they got their money & thats what mattered to them. I bought my kid an06 Honda trx250 on day 2 of the trip. diched the KABOOMA learned a lesson.and it tis this:" chinese quads are crap at best, they are very hit & miss. they are cheap for a reason." I still own 2 of them an 02 Panterra 90 and 05 Redcat 50 i was lucky with these. in the end the frustration with these machines ruin more good times than the little extra work you would have to do to make the extra money to buy a real quad>> KFX 700 POLARIS 500 scrambler both autos both super rideable and reliable (fast too) hope you have learned something from this .....I feel your pain but i have had that cancrer removed and feel better now
