I am getting ready to buy a quad for my boys. I want to know who makes who in the youth segment of quads.

Artic Cat 50 is a Kymco
Suzuki is a Suzuki
Kawasaki is a Suzuki (soon to be gone?)
Yamaha is by Yamaha(soon to be gone?)
Honda is by, oh yeah, no 50, thanks Honda

Polaris?
Bombardier?
E-ton?

I like the Kymco, price and warranty. But there is no dealer really close. Same with the e-ton. All of the other brands are close. A little help from all of the other dads would be greatly appreciated.

 

Polaris is Aeon and Eton is Eton. Think the Bombardier is Adly (aka Her Chee) but I couldn't swear to it.

 

You didn't name Kasea, whom I think is Kasea. I have had great service out of a Skyhawk 90. You can do a search, but if your child has any size at all do not waste your time on the 50 cc quads. You can limit the throttle on most all the 90cc quads. If your child is small, a 50 may be ok, but just think about a 90. Yes, I know the silly gov't rules, but I have known people who bought 50's and were very disappointed.

 

Kasea and LRX are SMC (Standard Motor Co).

 

Eton is Aeon also.
