Default LT50 w/CT kit

I've installed the kit and started with the 75 jet. The bike was sluggish off the bottom end and broke up a little at WOT. I removed carb, removed stacked pilot jet and changed to an 80. Really sluggish off the bottom but ran clean and strong at WOT. Went back to 75 jet and raised needle to highest setting (only one slot was left anyway). Slightly better, but still sluggish off bottom. Any suggestions?

One thing I forgot to mention, after the 80 jet, I dropped to a 70 and it was not good at all. Not as much power anywhere; bottom or top end. Then I switched back to the 75 after raising the needle.

After thinking about this for a while, I realize that my strategy was wrong. I raised the needle thinking it would help the top end power issue the first time I ran the 75 jet. When I removed the piggyback pilot jet, I increased my low speed fuel flow and by raising the needle, I'm now over-fueling the engine until it gets into higher rpms. I think I need to lower the needle to delay full flow from the main jet to fix my bottom end power. I'll try this tomorrow and let you know if it worked. Otherwise, I'm still open to suggestions and comments.
