Should I buy a Polaris Phoenix 200
#1
Hi All,
I'm thinking of buying a Polaris Phoenix 200 for my son. I like the the fact that it is fully automatic and right now they are selling them for $ 2600.00 for a new 2005. Or is there another brand anyone would recommend. Thanks in advance..

I'm looking for one as well. The 2005s are gone in AZ, so I'm looking at $3400 out the door for a 2006. For $2600, I would jump on it before its gone.
My neighbor has one,a nd its a plush ride compared to any Chinese quad. I am now figuring out "you get what you pay for". My son is old enough to know the difference between his yamoto 150 and the Polaris 200, so he is starting to prod me for a 200. We went out htis weekend with everyone else having bigger Jap quads, and you can really notice the difference.

So far feedback has been good. Was that warranty from polaris.. Also, did your girls have any trouvle handling the Pheonix 200. My son is 13 years old..
Thanks for your input..

The warranty was from polaris. This was the first atv for both of my girls. They can both handle the unit well. They are pretty fast for 200 autos. I think the had them up to 35 or so on the beach. They have both kick and electric start and separate front and rear brake levers. So far we have been happy with them. My 19 yr hit a didn't see a log on the dunes and rolled her's over on the side. Niether was worse for wear. They climbed the mid sized dunes well with the stock tires.
