I'm about to sell my 2004 yamoto 150. Any idea of re-sale? I haven't had any major problems, but we sure used it enough. Slight rust everywhere, and a few broken welds on the little stuff. I'm putting it up for $1,000, so I can be talked down during negotiations.

So, I "sold" my Yamoto 150 this afternoon. A friend of mine comes over and gives me cash. He says, is there anything wrong with it, I say, no, its been great for 15 months. Starts up in the first second, and then I heard a crackling noise, and the new owner, says fire!! The connector that goes from the magneto to the main wiring harness shorted out and burnt. I told him I would fix it and give him a call in a week. Called my local dealer, and he has a magneto in stock for $35 plus installation. I'll have to give my buddy some money off now, and pay for the repair. This qaud has never been in water or mud, but I guess the wash down after riding too its toll. I never did the grease in the connector, didn't think I needed it.
Moral is grease your connectors.

Well, the mechanic gave me the connector for $7.50 and the magneto was fine. Got away cheap on that one. I sold it to a friend from an old job, for $850. I think they should be selling for between $900 and 1000 for good condition. The mechanic actually said mine looked like it only had a few weekends on it, since I kept it clean. Washed it too much though.
