Default Eton CDI and lights question

I just bought my daughter a new Eton 70. After much debate over which brand to buy, I can say that I am extemely happy with my decision. I would like add the front head light kit. It looks as if it is just 2 bulbs and a wire harness, are there attchments for the harnesses to pug into? Is it pretty much plug and play? Also I think she needs a tad more umph, to go up hills and through the sandy parts of our trails. Everything is stock now, if I turn up the CDI box all the way and adjust the throttle so that it will go all the way, should this give me the power we need? Thanks in advance.

Default Eton CDI and lights question

First off welcome to the forums. I just recently bought my son an Eton Viper 90R and it has a very adjustable CDI. I don't know if your CDI is already turned all the way up but on the 90R I have 0-7 adjustments, 7 being unlimited. I also have the set screw on the throttle. By turning the CDI all the way up to the highest number and backing off the set screw you will achieve maximum power of the 70 from the factory. Also the headlights are just plug and play, if I recall right you just put them in and make a quarter turn and they should stay in. They are not very bright but my son likes to play with his lights. The 90 is prewired for them, don't know for sure if the 70 is. Hope this helps some.

Thanks, the lights are more of a novelty, she wont be ridding at night plus I think they are only like 5 watts anyway.

Does the CDI box on the 150 have the same 0-7 changeablility? Would like to give my 150 a little more power so maybe it can better keep up with the 250..

The light are almost worthless except for their safety value. I have a set if you can't find any. If you do some digging around you should find the pigtails and if you look at the light housing you might be able to find the socket at a auto parts store. Our 90 in stock form handled some pretty tough country before I modded it.
