I have to replace the stator on a 150cc 4 stroke( Chinese Quad), What do I need to get the fly wheel off? Impact wrench?? Never replaced one before.

air impact wrench works the best,also you're need a flywheel puller, if you don't have one already, you should beable to buy one at a local parts dealer, you need one for a honda gy6 engine. if you have trouble finding one i have a couple of new ones, private message me and i'll get back to you with details. this is a real simple job to do, why do you think it's the stator?

 

My daughter drove it in the water, the fly wheel and fan was soaked pretty good and there is no spark.
