Does anyone know why my sons eton 90 would not be firing. I have check everything I know to check ( which is limited). It was running fine and he bumped into a tree with the front bar and it quit and has not ran since. I put in a new spark plug and checked all the wiring. Nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check every kill switch connection, check ever key connection, check every Tether switch connection.
If still NO spark, pull the Stator output wires and use a digial ohms meter and check for approx A=B+C. If you do NOT get a zero (or close to it) reading, then the ignition side of your stator is ok. Next, move onto the Ignition coil, etc. etc.

I would agree with Jack. If hitting a tree and it suddenly stopped, its most often a loose wire that came unplugged. Or, a solder joint under the cover of a kill switch that suddent snapped off (due to the jar of a tree). Do use a simple 12V tester to see if current is getting across both sides of the kill switches. Also, do check the ignition key assembly. Sometimes, mud/crud gets in this area and it doesn't get a solid contact.

Hope this helps as well....
