Default lt 80 head

Hello,
mr lt80 says to shape the head 0,30. Is this in metric or in inches?

.030 would be 30 thousandths (inches).

I have been thinking of doing this to our LT50. What effect will that have? I have done a couple of other mods and it now flies!! and revs out easily. Seems like the gearing will need to be changed next.

I know nopthing about a LT50 other than it's the least mod friendly machine made.
It's a true yard machine.
It's a good machine,just not a builer-upper.
