No fuel on a JetMoto 200
#1
I have had the JetMoto 200 for a month or so and I saw a problem with a power lag in the middle and top end of the throttle. I was not sure what to do so I turned to this forum and read about it. I did not want to accept the possibility that it is just that far off from the factory. So I took a closer look and saw that the fuel petcock appeared to be not opening. On the 200 it is mechanical not manual. I was told this was an upgrade so that you would not have to turn it off and on. Anyways, I took a look at the fuel line and saw there was a large amount of air trapped in the line and there was nothing that I could do to get it out. I had a spare piece of 1/4" fuel line so I hooked it up directly and now I see the power and performance that you guys are talking about. To all of you out there that get a little discouraged because you think it is a dog, check your fuel delivery and you may be surprised. The long term solution was to get an standard 1/4" fuel petcock and istall it in place of the stock one. If anyone wants I can post a pic but it was so easy I am not sure that is necessary. The standard petcock was $4.50 and problem solved in about 10 minutes.
