Out of all the quads that I have bought for the kids which is alot I decided to step it up a notch. I bought a Unison Desert cat 90. This is by far better than ANY of the chinese brand quads. It would easily rank up with Honda, YAmaha or any of the other name brands. This is very quick, handles like a dream, welds, frame, suspension fit and finish are perfect. This is not a cheap knock off but still less than the name brands. I have read alot of great articles in the mags about Unison and they had nothing but good to say about them. I have seen these raced and they have a ton of mods for them. If you can spend just a little extra cash over the chinese quads but cant afford a name brand this is the ticket. My son has been jumping and racing it since he got it and not 1 bolt has come loose, starts first time every time and jumps really good. He is 9yo and it is a perfect size for him. Not too big and under powered or too small and over powered. This is a tiawan bike and the company is great to deal with. Every time I have called the company with questions they have been there. The scooter engine 2-strokes are all pretty good from what I've seen. But the Unsion is priced right. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Glad you like the Desert Cat 90. It is an awesome quad. Now if they would only make a full sized liquid cooled 250 version for me! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] I have no complaints at all about the 2005 DC 90 that my kid has as well. Definately the quad to get for kids as they grow way to fast and I could not see spending the money on the Hondas, etc. This little 2 stroker is great.
