Kasea Coil / Specs - are they all the same?
#1
This may be a very stupid question - but are all mini ignition coils created equal? I have a very weak and sporatic spark on my son's 50cc. I see a boatload of "fits all 50cc" quad coils on ebay. Many look identical, some don't. My neighbor has a spare coil from his sons 70cc redcad - which looks very different (the redcat is a 4-stroke). Anybody have a tesing spec for the Kasea coil - or know whether all coils in the mini class are alike (enough to be interchangable)?

yes you can use the redcat coil, the coils can be interchange as long as they come from another cdi ignition , i'm using a denso direct coil from a suzuki gsx-r 600-750 on my 250, it's has twice the voltage than the stock one ,it plugs direcly onto the plug.

Thanks. One other thing, some coils have two wires - mine has one. I am assuming the two wire setup is ground/hot where mine is grounded on the mounting studs?
