I am looking at some shocks on ebay. how do I size them. Mine are 8-3/4 eye to eye. the ones on ebay are 9-3/4 eye to eye. I am looking for softer shocks the stock ones are to stiff. i have a marshin 150cc. The shocks on ebay are off a Polaris 90.

Thanks

Shocks are usually measured from center to center of the bolt holes. One thing to be careful of if you have single front A-arms is getting shocks of a different length. If the shock is longer it will make the atv sit with the top of the tire leaned out and it will make it tippy in the corners.I tried some stock Predator 90 shocks on our Eton Viper but it made the atv tippy and the slight increase in travel wasn't worth while...If the atv is heavy enough to compress the springs down to your factory height or very close it might work for you.
