SUNL Axel Nuts
#1
Okay, have an issue with SUNL 110 mini and maybe someone can help.
Problem started with chain stretching so I replaced it with a new chain a tightened up all the engine mounting bolts. Kids rode the bike for 1/2 hour and the two axle nuts that hold the sprocket in place loosened up. This keeps occurring on the bike and I can not figure out why?????? Any one have thoughts on why the 2 axle nuts holding the sprocket in place keep loosing up? This is driving me nuts!!!!
Thanks for any help.

Just like any of the other nuts and bolts on the quad you have to locktite them too. Use blue locktite and it wont happen again. I had this happen on a few of out minis and I locktite them and never came loose again. Or if you can find a lock washer big anough to go between the 2 nuts that will also work but the locktite works fine.

Thanks 2manytoys. I did locktite them and the darn thing still came loose.
With that said, I just finished going through everything again with locktite and the kids went for a 30 minute ride. So far so good.
I did notice on thing on the SUNL mini's when adjusting the chain tension. If you measure from the axle to the front frame on the sprocket side it is 1/4 shorter than on the brake side. I adjusted it so that they are equal. Of course the tension nuts are at different depths. I have 2 of these ATV’s and they both measured the same when the tension nuts are equally turned. Kind of weird
Here is another note for anyone looking for a new chain. I went to TSC and purchased a .40 roller chain for the ATV. It works perfect, so far, and it only cost $13.00 for a 10' length. You can replace 3 bikes with this much chain!
