Eton 05 viper 50m Questions, info, comments, etc.
Hi all I am continuing this thread from a different one because I wanted to keep the topic related to my questions or model. First off thanks Old Yellar for the answers regarding my previous questions. I was curious about different tires for this mini50m. Is there a place to possibly get a hub that will attach to the axle that will accept a different rim for a bigger or a wider tire?? The tires on this have plugs in them and leak so i have to pump them up every time my son wants to ride.....which i can live with for now but I'd rather get a little bigger tire if am going to replace these.
Thanks in advance Kurt

Actually i did talk with anything atv people and they gave me a breakdown on price for everything i need. It appears to be a bit pricey. For now i might just get the tubes for 10 bucks apiece. wait until my son wears out these tires...lol.....Another thing....lights....I was toying with the idea of getting light kit...from them...also pricey. After doing more reading and research i think i might try to modify led flashlights into some headlights. Just brainstorming with my co worker. I think i can accomplish a better headlight system for cheaper than the 85 beans that they offered and the guy said they weren't full blown headlights....still have to convert the AC to DC ....
Thanks once again for the replies

Apparantly the 50m has a smaller set of tires designed to be a little lower to the ground for a little smaller person. the parts guy was very knowledgable about the differences. The main difference being the tire size. Easier tor Eton to put a smaller rim and tire vs redesigning a whole new axle etc. I originally thought it was the same as the 40 but it is different from that as well. so far my son hasn't noticed a difference...lol....For now i will get some tubes. When these tires wear out then i will consider the modifications for the bigger/wider tires.
