Default Not Chinese, but what?

Again, thank you to everyone for your opinions, seems everyone has their own feelings on this one. I will keep looking for one locally, used or a local dealer. I really do not know what to expect to spend, to "ensure" safety but my guess is you hink 800 is not enough?

A couple other things, this is my first purchase of an atv, it is for my son who will be riding it on the 1/2 acre property behind the house as a replacment to a battery powered vehicle he got when he was much younger.

Thanks again everyone-

Alga, since he is 6, and you won't be actually riding with him, definately stay with the 70cc and under range. What you really need to do is start researching a ride of your own

Super,

The Unison Desert cat is every bit as reliable and safe if not better than the big 4 and it is not a $800 quad. It is made by the same company as the Polaris pred 50/90 and also has the same motor as the eton and kymco quads. You cant beat the price and quality of the desert cats.

My son has a Kawi 90 and it has held up well so far. My problem with the kids atv's is they are almost all to narrow.

You have made a good choice, I am sure. Good luck and be sure to write a review after a few rides.
