what does it mean when u can start ur atv for a sec and once u give it gas it dies and wont start for like 5 min then it will start again for a bit till i give it more gas and dies again what does that mean what do i have to do? thank you

I have never really seen anyone talk them self to figure out their problem. Your doing good so far. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Try carb cleaner. You can purchase it at your local automotive parts supply.

how long have you had it? did you just get it? clean the carb like they said, and did you properly adjust the carb, these chinese quads need a little carb tuning, it will make all the difference, i found out first hand.

do a search for carb tuning its easy and all should be good.

 

oh yeah i noticed its a redcat 150, same as mine i had to mess with mine a coupe of times for the same problem, finally got it.
