I am going to build some kind of snorkel system for the intake on the boy's quads, to move the intake higher up. Right now they have a filter(if you want to call it that) attached directly to the carb. bell, and it can take in water fairly easily. Has anybody done this on a transformer? I have been trying to find a foam sock filter made by UNI @ my local moto parts shop, but can't find one...anyhoo, any ideas or pictures of a similar conversion will be appreciated.
Thanks,

You can go direct to K&N and look under the K&N unifilters. Just measure the outer part of the carb flange or whatever you are going to connect it too and order direct. You can also ge the K&N outerwears. This helps alot with water. Go to Home depot and you can find some hose that you can rout the intake up higher and connect the filter to that. But even just adding the K&N with outerwears helps a great deal unless you submerge the quad otherwise the water just rolls right off and leaves the filter dry.

Don't forget, once your mod is complete you will have to rejet your carb.
