Well said. Some people just dont understand. Another factor would be the overhead that you have The support, secretaries, technicians, and actual store while other people just sit at home behind the computer and do orders before they go to bed. Sure I can sell $400 quads all day long and make a good living but I cant deal with all the complaints, repairs, support and orders by me self. Thats where Raceway comes in. Yes you pay a little more but you get everything else that the others just cant afford to do. The big 4 would not be as big if they just did drop ship and dont have the support that they have. And even they dont give the support that Raceway does so why not pay some extra. If you dont think you wont need or dont need support after the sale you should not be buying a Chinese quad.

The big four are where they are because they withstood the test of time. They have had to learn from their ups and downs. Now as far as the big four not giving the the best support is absurd. When you reference the big four, you are referring to the manufacturer, not a dealer. Dealers and the manufacturer are two different entities. For instance:

I recently had a concern with my daughters new quad. I placed a call to Honda, the manufacturer, not the dealer. Honda started our file on the quad. They took all the information, told us to take the quad to any dealer to have it looked at. Honda said if they did not hear from a dealer regarding our issue they would assume everything was OK. Now here is what Honda did, and this to me is what customer service is all about. Honda called us back to make sure everything checked out and told us if anything did come up in the future we were covered. We also received a survey about a week later to see how everything was handled by the dealer we went to and their own customer service. My issue with the quad was a warranty issue. It was handled to my satisfaction with no problems.

Here again I'm talking about the manufacturer that I dealt with not a dealer. I have read many horror stories about some dealers that sell Big four vehicles to their customers and will fight them tooth and nail not to take care of their issues. You cannot put Raceway in the same class as the Big 4. If you want to compare Raceway to something, you can only compare them to a dealer.

Two things that I said are that I believe dealers like raceway will be what makes the chinese atvs common place and two the guy I bought mine from could care less If it broke tomorrow as a mater of fact me and my dad just spent the whole afternoon working on the carb to get it running right (the info from 2manytoys helped a whole lot) and while me and him were working on it he mentioned he had been thinking of buying him a 4-wheeler and I mentioned raceway to him. Also I think it was 2manytoys talked about all the overhead and I really hadn't considered that. I do want to say thanks to everyone in this forum and raceway because I have read where you helped people and they in turn put info ya'll gave them in this forum

i can guarantee one thing, that another dealer or manufaturer would not have replaced the quad after 4 months of use, they would claim abuse. i've seen it many times, especially on broken frames.

Bill,
That service you got with the frame says it all. Rarely will anyone do that...if at all. You know I'm skeptical by nature and say what I feel, they just do a good job. If they smoothed over you, that says a lot SEADAWG/PUP
