I have ATV insurance, but for my Zook and a Kasea. Even without insurance, it would cover injury and property damage if used on my property. It will cover thief on or off my property. It will not cover actions while using my atv off my property. That's the ATV insurance.
Even with insurance, it only cover a total claim for $300K. The umbrella covers for an additional 2 million in claims, you know, when you really screw up.

I do have an unbrella policy with my home owners, but you still need atv ins policy for riding off your property. In pa all atvs have to be registered and given a plate. You must have at least liability coverage. This is what im after.Again why can you NOT get ins for a chinese atv?

I had the same problem in 2003 getting insurance for my son's Kasea. The agent wrote me up as a Suzuki 80 just to get the policy. 6 mos later, KASEA was in.
Problem is, the ***** bikes are coming in sooo fast, and branded by whomever imports them, the insurance companies can't keep up. it's not like the insurance industry sits around saying, "I wonder what new machines are out there today" The companies themselves need to take the lead in provide the info to the industry so rates can be established.
Word for the wise, check and see if insurance is available BEFORE you buy a no-name quad.
BTW- I'll give you $400 for your 125.

Setters,
I live in PA and know just what you're talking about with the insurance. I own a Redcat, and nobody would insure it because they could find it in their databases either. But Geico insured my Redcat. If I were you I would call Geico back and talk to someone else. Don't go through an agent, call Geico directly. As long as you have the VIN they should insure for you. If you need help, let me know, I'll be glad to get on the phone for you and straighten those guys out.

Sorry, no emoticons. I was just kidding about the $400. Kinda ball bustin'. I'm like that. godIlove2ride is right, call Geico and just give them the VIN. See what that does.
I love paragon, especially for the Rocks, but I'm mainly a rock crawler with the Jeeper crowd. Would like to take my new King Quad there for a trial. Maybe in the spring.
