sOn the Honda clone motors, a loud bang at start usually indicated that the four head bolts are loose. Remember, this is soft metal, so do not over-tighten - but just give each of the bolts a gentle turn with a socket.
The four head-bolts are at the front-end of the engine.

Great pitch in on the help. This is a new quad it sounds like and I haven't heard a word on who the bought it off of or if they are helping? Or is it a fly by night again? Regardless, she is getting great advice and couldn't be in better hands. It is obvious that she didn't buy this from RACEWAY ATVs...and some other great local guys that do help.
