Sunl 90 Assembly Question
I just bought an 06 Sunl ATV-109 for the kiddies to share. I bought it new, in the crate. I de-crated it and all went well except for 1 part.
There is a 5/8" or so 12" long black hose coming from a shiny fitting that is bolted onto the exhaust pipe, (about 6" from the header). On the end of the hose, it has a black plastic fitting that resembles a fuel filter. What the heck is this and where is it supposed to connect to? HELP!!!!

Sunl 90 Assembly Question
Ok, I found out that it is part of the new EPA system, and that the plastic fitting is a 1-way valve (lets air into the exhaust, but not out).
I could not find out what I am supposed to do with it, or where I should connect it! If I leave it hang, it will hang just below the frame and pick up all kinds of dirt, mud, water, etc.. Where does it go?

Sunl 90 Assembly Question - EPA Parts?
If it runs ok....plug the line and tuck it up out of the way. My 2000 Yamaha V Star has an AIS system that supposedly injects air into the exhaust ports to further burn the exhaust gases. Like the old air injection pumps on older auto engines. The only thing I noticed it did was to make the engine backfire and pop on deceleration.
I plugged the lines and disabled the AIS and the bike runs just as good as before without the annoying "pop" in the exhaust.
So just screw a small screw or bolt into the hose and tie it up out of the way.

I have no idea where it would connect on your atv as I am familiar with the set-up on my motorcycle. End result is the same for both systems in that it injects fresh air into the exhaust ports.
The motorcycle set-up uses a valve assembly mounted on the frame with a connection to the air breather assembly and a connection to the carb circuit to control the valve's opening and closing.
Off hand I would say look to the air filter housing assembly first because that is where the air supply for the valve will come from.
Hopefully someone will come on here with a similar machine and can help you.

Alright, I'll ziptie it as high as possible. I just wanted to make sure that it didn't need to connect to something else. The factory had it twist tied at the bottom of the frame such that the left front tire would contact it while turning. I knew that position had to be wrong.
