Default oil got too quick

In my RedCat 110,the things but a month old.I changed oil in when I got it,put Castrol 10w-40 in it,then changed it about 8 hours later and put Tec 2000 10w-40 in it.Its only been about 8 hours on that oil and I looked at the glass and it was almost to the lower mark.
Where did it go?
That seems awfull fast to have to be addin oil to it.
Is it normal,is it still breaking in?

Is tech 2000 a synthetic oil? If so it might have been to soon to put it in. 8 hrs should have been a long enough break in but you never know.

Maybe it evaporated? Sorry for the joke. I thought the normal break in is about ten hours. Either way it should have been broken in enough by now to be able to use synthetic. I would do a compression check to be on the safe side.

Man,I dont know what a compression check.Wouldnt know how to do one.
Can you change the oil too often?
The oil still looks clean, but I thought of changin it today, again.
Will it hurt it to put a different brand in it now?
Thought about puttin Shell Rotella T 15w-40 in and stickin to that brand oil.
No,it wasnt synthetic,I thought I read somewhere on here not to use synthetic.
Where would the oil go,I didnt smell it burnin,it smelled rich but that could be the homemade foam wrap on it that I took off yesterday.

Not to be obvious, but is there an spotting beneath it when parked overnight? My MPX-110 will drop a couple of drops overnight. Can't find a leaky seal or gasket...seems to be the drain plug threads. I will correct it with a new crush washer and perhaps some teflon tape on the threads next oil change.

I did feel of the plug and it had a drop of oil onit, but no sign if drops on the floor, though it could only be doin it as it is being riden in the field.
I keep an eye on itand see if it persists.I might try some teflon tape next oil change, which will probly be this week end.
Like you there is no sign of it coming out of seals, but the thing is only a month old to.It had some on the skid plate but it might of come from when I changed it last.
