trx70 fr brake cables stuck

im rebuilding my 87 trx70 but the front brake cable seem to be frozen there is no movement at all so is there anyway i can get them unstuck any help will be greatly appriciated thanks.

It is probably time to replace them anyway. If it is only the cables that are stuck you could try a little cable lube, or even WD-40 to free them up. The question is, are you willing to trust your kid and the brakes while riding?

Measure up the cables and start searching around. Some other machine is bound to use something close enough to work. Also, a call directly to a cable manufacturer could probably bag you some made to order cables.If you find something to long, maybe you could cut and splice to get a more desirable length. I'm not sure on the TRX70 setup, but would something off the TRX 90 work? It also uses cable actuated brakes.

i tried fixing the the old cables yesterday and they just fell apart so im out looking for a new set i will have to check and see if the trx90 will work thanks for the help.
