Default chain size and sprocket

I know its on here somewhere, but couldnt find it.

What is the chain size of a RedCat VX 110cc?

I ordered an 11 tooth,they got a 12 tooth so I bought it anyway.

Took it home and went to put it on and as I wraped the chain around the 12 tooth sprocket,it hit for the fisrt 3-4 teeth and then started to ride out of the sprocket.
They let me return it so I got my money back.

One guy down there said an 11 tooth would make it too low end and that I should stay with a 12 tooth.

Would it be that dramatic,or should the 11 tooth be fine?

Do you want more bottom end or top end? A smaller front sprocket will give it more bottom end. For every 1 tooth in the front equals about 2 teeth in the rear. Usually the chains on these quads are 428. 420 would be smaller and 520 will be huge.

Yes,I would like a little more bottom end.I just dont want it to go tooo slow.
I took it behind the house for the first time yesterday. The hill is probly a 30% grade mostly and 40% grade at one point.Pretty steep.
My son rode it once I got down there but it just seems you have to rev the motor up to bearly move.
I rode it back out and it did good for a 2wd.I kept in first gear all the way up,about 100' climb(?).I just wish it could have done it in 2nd gear.
Recon Im use to my A.C. 300 4x4.
