Suzuki LT-Z50 rev limiter
#1
My son has a LT-Z50 quad that he has been learning to ride. We are riding on ice, snow covered. The engine has some type of electronic limiter that won't let the engine rev free. I would like to gear the quad lower so it will pull the snow better, but the engine limiter will make it to slow. It also does not have enough power to climb the shore with the current power/gearing.
Does anyone know how to get the engine to rev? How about power adding modifications?

Welcome aboard!
Usually the rev limiter is built into the CDI (ignition) box. Without swaping that out, you can't change that.
As for power mods, if it's a CVT you can swap in lighter rollers and cams.
You can also change out filters for a K&N or a UNI (foam type).
Check the board here, you'll find alot of posts about carb and power mods.
