Baja 150

Has anyone who owns one of these atv's encountered the lower A-arm/balljoint breaking off?
I was on my sons yesterday just warming it up in the yard when this atv nose dived almost sendin me over the bars! It seems the welds are "crap" at a point were strength is needed!
I was told these atv's are similar in design to the Yamaha Blaster. Can anyone confirm this?
I pulled both A-arms and had them welded yesterday afternoon so I believe that issue is laid to rest! I did contact Baja via phone and after faxing my sales receipt they are shipping a new A-arm out(to be welded as soon as I get it)..Spare parts are always nice!

is your a baja recreation 150 or an extreme 150 ? I have both. yes the extreme 150 is like a yamaha blaster. I have not had any problems with mine, but I have put blaster shocks on the 3 extremes that we have. The baja shocks are junk and are to stiff.
