Average run temps on an air cooled 4 stroke?

Anyone have a ballpark figure for "normal" engine temps under average use for a 4 stroke single cylinder engine?

I would say under 200 degrees.

Really? I'm averaging over 200 most of the time, especially if I'm not moving alot.

I would say 210, but just a guess

My buddy use to cruise in his trans am back in the day and it would hit 225F(we would then proceed to open it up on a highway)

Average run temps on an air cooled 4 stroke?

The reason I ask is i recently installed a trailtek Vapor "computer" with speedo, engine, temp, RPM, etc. and noticed the engine temp sky rockets when it's not moving, and especially when it's bogged down slogging through mud.
