Default Oil Leak Kazuma 110 Right side case

Have Baby Falcon 110. Leaking oil at cluth adjustment? on right side of motor. Took off small cover, and has oil trail from rod/nut. Nut seems tight. Tighten more? New O-ring? Torque spec on nut? Thanks for any info.

Default Oil Leak Kazuma 110 Right side case

Anybody experience this? Went riding this past weekend with Jetmoto 110. New at Xmas. This nut backed all the way off while riding, drained most oil on the trail, and quad slowed and died. Engine was locked. We got it freed believe it or not. Found leak after freeing motor and fresh oil, was pumping out. Took side cover off and nut and washer were completely off the clutch adjustment. This is a friend of mine, who also has the Meerkat 90. Checked when he got home and 90 leaking also but nut is tight. Mine had been leaking oil lately but I had not checked very carefull for exactly where. Took my adjustment cover off earlier this week and mine is leaking there as well. No one else is having this or has remedied problem? Anyone? Thanks.

One thing I can tell you is if the engine locked and you were able to free it, I would check the compression, I would be willing to bet you'll be buying another motor for it.

godIlove2ride-I suggested he call John at Raceway. I suggested he buy it there because of what I had read on here. He bought it in Dec. Believe it or not, it was making awful noise, but is now quiet. I had some Castrol 20-50 we put in before we found leak, lost most of that freeing motor and finding leak. Fixed leak, only had Mobil 1 synthetic left, put that in. It quieted down, and his boy who was pretty upset about the prospect of not riding all Sat. had a good day and rode all day. Being big "kids" ourselves, the 3 dads actually drag raced with the little quads. My boys Kazuma 110, a Jetmoto 110, and Yamaha Raptor 80. Well, we all beat each other at least once, but the Jetmoto won more. LOL, that was fun! I take it you haven't had this problem? I also have the Kazuma 50 but haven't checked it yet.

Haven't had that problem yet, and I hope I don't for a long time. Jetmoto is really putting out some quality products. It's good to hear that your trip was a success after this, first time I hear of a motor locking up due to running out of oil and then being fine after that. You are lucky. You did the right thing having your friend call John, best place to send him.
