My daughers 2000 LT 80 no longer has the power to pull hills. Dose the belt have adjustments or do they stretch over time. Should I replace it ?

The belts last forever. The used ones actually work better than new. No adjustment. The belt isn't the problem here.
I'd check the compression.

the reason i think its the belt is because when pulling the hill it starts to slow down and you can hear a whine start. it almost sounds between a whine and squeal. kindof like a lawnmowers belt slipping.... thats why i think its the belt not sure though... any ideas?
also when i took the cover off to look at the belt (like where the pullstart should be) i noticed it had a groove in it where it was wearing faster on one place or somthing.... is it normal?

Thanxs

Yes that's normal. It's prolly wearing from the big washer that's in there.
I think you should pull the sidecover and service the clutchs. That may tell us alot.
Check for flat spots on the rollers and rear clutch bearings.
